Yes.....I did it again. I'm sorry ~ but this time, you can all relate so don't judge me please 😂! It was BREYERFEST weekend and things got a  * little * crazy for me.  You can smash in some personal drama and outside work into the mix to create a wonderful batter  of someone losing their mind. But I think I've got it back LOL ~ I had a wonderful first time of Breyerfest, and sold most of the ponies! And even got a couple fun things that I could squeeze funds for. So excited to share what the one in particular.... But ~ back to what this is all ABOUT!!! Artist of the Week is .....Shane Langbauer of Wiggle Workz Studios!  Shane could not have a sale of her work this Breyerfest as she has other exciting things happening in her life, so I wanted to share her work with you all this week because I sincerely look up to this artist as a huge inspiration to my own work, and hope to have a fraction of her talent one day. I am blessed to call her a hobby artist friend! Not to ...

Hey I'm back on Friday!!! Today is Jenn Constantine's spotlight of the Studio of Jenn Constantine! 💗 Jenn has THE eye for unique, different, and EXCITING! She has her own style that is widely known in the hobby, especially medallions with skeleton work! She has completed several of these on popular medallions and has certainly captured many people's attention with them. While she is the queen in this aspect, she also does other dynamic pieces ~ I have to say my FAVOURITE is the little Zyphyr painted with chalk...so creative, so fun, and SO CUTE. She also was super brave and resculpted a Pollywog with a sweater that I so wanted to give a home to. But alas, I was too slow! I hope she will consider doing more .... so much torture I can imagine for Jenn however LOL. She keeps surprising us with wonderful surprises as she continues to paint piece by piece, and I am looking forward to what she does next!  Keep an eye out for her Breyerfest sale  which is SOON!!! Check out he...

Hello and welcome again! I was MIA again....sorry. Big sorry. 😔 Life has not slowed down for me to even catch a break or even a breath!  BUT this Monday I want to share Jen Boss of Boss Equine Design Studios!!!  I have LOVED Jen's work and was one of the first artists I was following when I started customizing! So her work is not only admirable, but also has been inspiring since the beginning for me. Soft bold colours and uniqueness in every piece is everything thats pleasing to the eye, and she can make any horse look good in any colour. The artistry combined creates such a believable, beautiful, and brimming with created lifelikeness is sincerely fantastic!!! And its not just my opinion either, its a well known fact for many in the hobby! Several people commission this wonderful, friendly artist to paint their horses and I just know that I would love a model to grace my shelf one day. While I am not a fan of decorator pieces, I REALLY like hers and so maybe I need two piece...

Hello friends! I apologize for my silence lately ~ I was not able to get my Artist of the Week gathered in time last week and this week I have not heard back from the artists I contacted. So please bear with me ~ I plan on getting this rolling for you guys. :)      But how about I share my Best Customs Contest horse? I know many of you probably have seen him. I'm sorry if you are tired of seeing him. I am so excited about him however and I am actually still shocked I finished him * just in time *      May was a long and very hard month for me. June has been not much better with losing a dear pet and dealing with * anxiety * with the BF craze to get ready for my Artisan Gallery! The good news is that ALL commissions in house are FINISHED. Now I can focus solely on those secret ponies and when they are done, I'll give myself a breather to enjoy summer and maybe paint some of my own ponies that have been waiting patiently....before ...

Welcome back to Artist of the Week!!! I'd love to introduce you to Joanna Dueck of Conveyor 12 Studios! 💖 Joanna is a fellow Canadian "Canuck" artist, and she is a treasure to the community. I know FOR SURE when I see a photo of her work. She can paint everything from Traditionals to micro, and medallions! She even paints COWS ~ which I absolutely adore as they are so realistic! Everything is so spot on, with a punch pack of detail and the shading on every horse is impeccable. This is extremely hard to do, but really, she makes it look effortless. (I for one know it is not always behind the scenes) She can catch both the softness and brilliance of the many coats of colours horses have, and that is the shine of a true artist at work. I truly think she deserves more recognition in the hobby for her skill. But it is wonderful to have a talented friend in the same country as me. XD I sincerely need a piece painted by her here with me, so one day I hope to have it happen. I...
